Primers

Universal Alkyd PrimerGenteel Coatings HS Universal Modified Alkyd Primer offers 3.5 VOC, and HAPS Free. It offers quick drying times with excellent adhesion. It contains chromate-free anticorrosion for excellent protection against corrosion and can be used over solvent sensitive coatings as a base for topcoats.

Polyurethane Primer/ Sealer Genteel Coatings UP-121 Primer Gray is a two component hybrid epoxy - polyurethane primer that contains rust inhibitive pigments. Used on construction equipment and transportation vehicles, it has good resistance to splash and spillage of most weak acids and alkalis, salts, most solvents, and water. This primer is used where corrosion and weather resistances are required. Genteel Coatings 121 primer mixes 4:1 with 122 part B activator. Works well as a DTMPolyurethane DTM High Build Primer

Genteel Coatings 2K DTM Primer FS-4100 is a two-component urethane primer, designed for exceptionally high build with direct-to-metal properties. 2K DTM Primer is great sanding, wet or dry after short dry times.  Genteel Coatings FS-4100 primer mixes 4:1 with FS-4111 activator. Mixed 4:1:1 FS-4100 Primer can be used as a sealer and provides minimal shrinkage and the maximum in color holdout properties.

 

Topcoats

Series 202-Acrylic Enamel Acrylic enamel offers excellent long term protection in exposures including mild industrial and marine environments. It has exceptional color and gloss retention with overall durability. It provides a very high gloss with an automotive- like finish.

Series 301-G3 Acrylic Polyol Urethane topcoat is a two component, 3:1, acrylic polyol polyurethane. This acrylic urethane topcoat is designed to provide excellent UV protection and long-lasting durability for Aviation, Transportation, including Marine applications applied above the water line. 301 topcoats offer excellent abrasion and moisture resistance with exceptional gloss, distinctiveness of image and color retention. The new offers the capability to mix metallic colors. G3 uses high strength bases that produce better hiding and uses less colorants helping to low cost. All bases are made from a grind giving the distributor the ability to produce the same high quality as a factory packed color. Slightly slower drying times offer longer work times with an extended window for over spray to melt in. G3 is a ¾ filled gallon.

EU-5200 European Ultra is a 2:1 water white acrylic polyurethane clear, designed for ease of use with excellent leveling, effortless polishing and superior gloss retention. EU-5200 is designed for both complete and spot/panel jobs. EU-5200 is a supreme low cost European clear with exceptional distinctiveness of image.

5300 Complete is a 4:1 two-component water white acrylic polyurethane clear. Designed for multiple panels or over-all jobs, this clear can be polished after 12 hours or in 4 hours when baked at 120F. 5300-Complete has great distinctiveness of image (DOI) and lasting durability.

5500 Express is a 4:1 two-component water white acrylic polyurethane clear, designed for extremely fast dry times. This clear can be polished as fast as 30 munites. 5500 Express has high gloss, easy blend-ability and great distinctiveness of image (DOI) with lasting durability.

Color Documentation

A wide range color spectrum has been formulated using Genteel Coating tints and mixing bases. All colors are available in a range of gloss levels; X-Rite® Color Designer System® is also available. Factory packed colors available and subject to minimum order.
